Loft London is a dedicated media boutique to the Broadcast industry. Loft has built a reputation for technical expertise, exceptional customer service and flexible pricing models. Loft will work in partnership with content owners and distributors to guide the client through the evolution from tape based servicing to digital distribution.
Loft offers a total video servicing package, encompassing ageing formats and libraries through to current HD standards and the ability to deliver to a clients Digital Asset Management Service platform.
Loft London’s high end transcode, ingest, encode, storage and digital distribution facility together with our experienced and accessible team of staff, positions Loft as one of London’s premier media hubs.
October 2005 – Present (3 years 5 months)
Maglio Media Ltd was founded to provide Operational Project Management solutions for the Broadcast industry. Since it’s launch in October 2005, Maglio Media has successfully worked on the launch of three new transmission services from MTV London transmitting to France, the relocation of two pan European services and the launch of two content services to two European mobile telephone network providers.

A member of the Operations & Strategy Team which spans the Operations & Technology Support departments. Looking at short & long term Platform Strategy, stabilisation & change management. Also working with the Business Development team on external projects.
September 2002 – October 2005 (3 years 2 months)
Managing the transmission and output of 20 channels across pan-European and pan-Arabic platforms all transmitting at 99.997% of their SLA. Using GVG Profiles, Omneon Servers and secondary equipment under ADC100 Harris & Probel Morpheus Automation. Managing & recruiting a compliment of 35 TC’s, 5 Engineers, 7 QC/Compliance Editors & a supporting freelance team. Creating the basis of technical workflows & procedures for TX, Engineering, Post & Ingest. In depth involvement with the Client & Senior TNS Management in planning, build and launch of a further 11 services. These include 2 multi language services for Scandinavia, a channel for the UK DTT platform, multi channel service for Russia & Central Europe & a 2 pan Arabic platforms of a 5 stereo audio file base transmission service.
September 1999 – September 2002 (3 years 1 month)
Managing the day-to-day technical issues for the 5 TX suites, Post Production area and 2 Studios for 7 satellite & cable channels for the Flextech Television contract. Implementing and overseeing engineering projects with a team of 5 engineers. Working closely with the Client Manager & the Clients on projects, new technologies and the launch of three new services. Rostering and managing a staff of 30 Transmission Controllers & 5 engineers. Creation of procedures & working practices for the Engineering and Transmission staff.
April 1994 – May 1999 (5 years 2 months)
- Senior Supervisor of a shift of four staff for the Network Control Centre.
- Uplinking 30 television channels and 25 radio stations on Arabsat 2A, Intelsat 703 & 705.
- To continually assess the technical integrity of all signals, both backhaul and internally generated.
- Monitor and control all remote facilities within SNC and the operation of all applicable equipment (satellite, compression and baseband).
